A:   Indy is a Curly-Coated Retriever.

Q:   What is a Therapy Dog?

A:  The primary objective is to provide comfort and companionship by sharing the dog with the patients in hospitals, nursing homes and other institutions and wherever else the Therapy Dog is needed. This is done in a way that increases emotional well being, promotes healing, and improves the quality of life for the people being visited and the staff that cares for these people.

Q:   What types of tricks can Indy do?

A: Indy responds to both voice and hand commands and can do the following: Shake/Wave, Spin, Crawl, Bow, Speak, Force Retrieve or Carry an Object, Drop on Recall, Rollover and all basic obedience, Sit, Sit/Stay, Down, Down/Stay, Sit/Stand, Heel, Wait, Leave It, Balance a cookie on his nose, flip it and catch it.

Q:   What food does Indy eat?

A: Indy only eats "Blue Buffalo, Large Breed Adult" and 4 tsp. of flaxseed oil daily.
